Born from the Workshop: The Story Behind the Craft

At just 16 years old, I’ve spent the last five years turning raw timber into functional art right here in Queensland, Australia. My journey behind the lathe and at the workbench started when I was just 11, driven by a simple fascination with how a rough, weathered block of wood could be transformed into something incredibly precise and beautiful. What began as a curiosity quickly evolved into a full-blown obsession with craftsmanship, precision, and pushing the boundaries of what I could build with my own two hands.

Today, that passion is poured into every single piece that leaves my workshop—especially my custom, handmade wooden pens. From selecting premium native timbers to carefully turning, sanding, and assembling each component, every item is a reflection of dedication, hard work, and Aussie grit.
